Sarma Jeca is a professional in business development, finance and project management with over 20 year corporate experience.
In 2008 she was hired by Tetra Pak Sverige to build Business Control processes and performance follow-ups in a newly merged and re-designed Nordic organization. The success of this meant that she was later assigned to serve as a business partner in order to carry out finance integration as well.
Since then Sarma has held various management positions in international companies such as Ikea of Sweden and General Motors. She is currently working at INGKA Group in Multichannel Transformation Programme where she is responsible for the performance management.
During her professional career, Sarma has experienced many situations first-hand where team-effectiveness has been impaired by issues during an organizational change. Often this has taken the form of ineffective (or nonexistent) conflict resolution strategies so her goal was to bring a more human and compassionate touch to large companies.
Sarma enrolled in the Consulting and leading in organization psychodynamic and systemic approach course at the Tavistock & Portman NHS foundation trust which is validated by the University of Essex. This course develops different tools and strategies to give a more complete understanding of the human dimensions of organizational systems, as well as to develop a ‘consultative stance’ to organizational dilemmas. Sarma also recently graduated Lassalle-Kontemplationsschule VIA Integralis as a meditation practitioner that qualifies her to lead others into this practice.
Real Life Experience
Sarma has worked and lead teams in the biggest companies in Europe, and this experience gives her an invaluable insight into the problems and challenges faced by a large organization when it comes to managing employee morale and effectiveness.
